While HMD Global sent out press invites earlier this month for a Nokia event on June 13, the company has now confirmed that it will be launching Nokia smartphones at this event. This means that the company can expectedly launch its Nokia 6, Nokia 5, and Nokia 3 Android smartphones finally in India next week. HMD Global invites doesn't mention the devices, but only says "welcome the new era of Nokia Smartphones." To recall, the new Nokia 3310 was launched in India in mid-May at a price of Rs. 3,310 via offline stores. Polaroid Enters LED TV, Monitor Market in India

US-based consumer products maker Polaroid on Friday forayed into LED TVs and monitors segment in the Indian market. The company has tied-up with Indian manufacturing company Powerful Technologies Pvt Ltd, an authorised Polaroid licensee, to assemble and manufacture LED TVs and monitors in their Noida factory, Polaroid  said in a statement.
Initially six models have been launched - three Polaroid LED TV models and three monitor models. The products are currently available on e-commerce platform Amazon. It will be available on other online retailers, besides distribution and retail channels. The LED TVs are priced at between Rs. 7,999 and Rs. 13,999, while the LED monitors are priced at Rs. 3,499-Rs. 4,599. Microsoft might be rethinking how users interact with Cortana

Cortana might be getting a makeover. Two separate reports today from Thurrott and Windows Centralmention the possibility of a changed UI for Cortana that’ll make it more conversational. Generally, both stories allude to the idea that Microsoft is trying to make it easier to both discover and regularly interact with its virtual assistant. Windows Central reports that Microsoft is producing a more conversational UI for Cortana that’ll resemble Google Assistant on Android. Although users can already type a question to Cortana, the new interface might more closely resemble a texting conversation, like Allo. These written responses could be accompanied by a voice reply. Voice input will still exist, as well. Meanwhile, Thurrott says that in addition to making its interface more conversational, Microsoft is considering relocating the assistant in Windows 10 to the system tray, near the clock. Reliance Jio 4G Feature Phones' Specifications, Price Leaked

The Reliance Jio 4G VoLTE feature phones, rumoured to be in the works since January, will reportedly hit the markets soon. Reliance Retail, the company behind Lyf range of phones, will soon be launching the feature phones in two variants, which are already in production - according to a report by 91mobiles. The Mukesh Ambani-backed company is aiming to tap the rural market with these low-cost feature phones, which are said to come bundled with Reliance Jio 4G SIM as well as Jio apps.
